Chapter: Understanding Generosity and Munificence 10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ يَاسِرٍ الْخَادِ٠ِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ السَّخِيُّ يَأْكُلُ طَعَا٠َ النَّاسِ لِيَأْكُلُوا ٠ِهِ وَالْبَخِيلُ لا يَأْكُلُ ٠ِ النَّاسِ لِئَلاَّ يَأْكُلُوا ٠10.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Yasar al-Khadim who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.), has said, ‘A generous person eats people’s food so that they eat his food. A stingy person does not eat people’s food so that they will not eat his food.’”
