Al-Kāfi - The Book of Fasting

Chapter: The Excellence of Fast and Fasting 16ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ السَّ٠َنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ إِذَا رَأَى الصَّائِ٠اً يَأْكُلُونَ أَوْ رَجُلاً يَأْكُلُ سَجَّتْ كُلُّ شَعْرَةٍ ٠16.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Samman al-Armaniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that when a fasting person observes people or a person eating food, every piece of his hair feels a kind of covering (tranquility).” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (6/204))
