Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Mansur ibn Yunus from abu Basir who has said the following: âI heard abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), say, âSpeaking lies invalidates Wuduâ and fasting.â I (the narrator) then said, âWe are destroyed.â He (the Imam) said, âIt is not the way you think it is.
It means speaking lies against Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, His Messenger and âAâimmah, âAlayhim al-Salam.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (16/250))
