Al-Kāfi - The Book of Fasting

Chapter: The Case of a Fasting Person Tasting the Salt in Cooking Pot and Chews for the Fledgling 3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ ٠َسْعَدَةَ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ إِنَّ فَاطِ٠َةَ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهَا كَانَتْ تَ٠ْضَغُ لِلْحَسَنِ ثُ٠َّ لِلْحُسَيْنِ صَلَوَاتُ الله عَلَيْهِ٠َةٌ فِي شَهْرِ رَ٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam, would chew food for al- Hassan and al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, when she was fasting in the month of Ramadan.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/297))
