Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Salmah ibn al-Khattab from Sulayman ibn Samaâah, from Ali ibn âIsmaâil from Muhammad ibn Hakim who has said the following: âI once heard abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), say, âIf a man while on a journey and fasting dies, I will not perform Salat (prayer) (of dead people) for him.ââ Ø¶Ø¹ÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/328))
