Chapter: The Case of One Who Fasts on a Journey out of Ignorance 1٠عÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙÙ Ø¥ÙØ¨ÙØ±ÙØ§ÙÙÙ٠٠عÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ¨ÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠ابÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ¨Ù٠عÙÙ ÙÙØ§Ø¯Ù عÙÙ٠اÙÙØÙÙÙØ¨ÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ¨ÙÙ Ø¹ÙØ¨Ùد٠اÙÙÙ (عÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³ÙÙÙØ§ÙÙ ) ÙÙØ§ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙØªÙ ÙÙÙÙ Ø±ÙØ¬ÙÙÙ ØµÙØ§Ù Ù ÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³ÙÙÙÙØ±Ù ÙÙÙÙØ§Ù٠إÙÙÙ ÙÙØ§Ù٠بÙÙÙØºÙÙ٠أÙÙÙÙ Ø±ÙØ³ÙÙÙ٠اÙÙÙ (صÙÙÙ٠اÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙØ¢ÙÙÙ) ÙÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠ذÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙØ¹ÙÙÙÙÙÙ٠اÙÙÙÙØ¶Ùاء٠ÙÙØ¥ÙÙÙ ÙÙÙ Ù ÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙÙØºÙÙÙ ÙÙÙØ§ Ø´ÙÙÙâØ¡Ù Ø¹ÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ.
He (the Imam) said, âIf he is informed that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, prohibited fasting on a journey, he is required to complete its Qadaâ (compensatory fast) but if such information has not reached him, he is not obligated for anything/â ØØ³Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/329))
