Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The First Thing of Lands that Allah Created Was the Site of the House and How Was What He First Created 2ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ عَائِذٍ عَنْ أَبِي خَدِيجَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْزَلَ الْحَجَرَ لآِدَ٠َ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠ِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَكَانَ الْبَيْتُ دُرَّةً بَيْضَاءَ فَرَفَعَهُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى السَّ٠َاءِ وَبَقِيَ أُسُّهُ وَهُوَ بِحِيَالِ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ يَدْخُلُهُ كُلَّ يَوْ٠ٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ ٠َلَكٍ لا يَرْجِعُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَبَداً فَأَ٠َرَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِبْرَاهِي٠َاعِيلَ (عَلَيْهِ٠) بِبُنْيَانِ الْبَيْتِ عَلَى الْقَوَاعِدِ.

Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, took it to the heaven but its base remained, and it is the site of the House, wherein seventy thousand angels come every day and they never return to this site. Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, then commanded Ibrahim and Isma‘il, ‘Alayhima al-Salam, and they built the House on the pillars (on that base).”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (17/10))
