Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muâallaâ ibn Muhammad from al-Washshaâ from Aban ibn âUthman from Yahyaâ ibn abu al-â Alaâ who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that the houses of Makkah did not have any doors. People of other lands would come with their transporting animals, enter and stay there.
The first person who installed doors on them was Muâawiyah.â Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (7/108))
