Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Excellence of Hajj and ‘Umrah, and the Reward Thereof َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ ٠َاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْ٠َاعِيلَ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠َنْ دُفِنَ فِي الْحَرَ٠ِنَ الْفَزَعِ الأَكْبَرِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ ٠ِنْ بَرِّ النَّاسِ وَفَاجِرِهِ٠ِنْ بَرِّ النَّاسِ وَفَاجِرِهِ٠26.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il from abu Isma‘il al-Sarraj from Harun ibn Kharijah who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘One who is buried in al-Haram is immune from the great terrifying event.’ I (the narrator) asked him, ’Does it apply to both people of good and evil deeds?’ He (the Imam) replied, ’Yes, it applies to both kinds of people.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/130))
