Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: Obligatory Acts During Tawaf (Walking Seven Times Around the Ka‘bah) 3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ٠َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَ٠ِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ ٠َنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ عَلَى الْ٠ْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ ثَلاثَةُ أَطْوَافٍ بِالْبَيْتِ وَيُصَلِّي لِكُلِّ طَوَافٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَسَعْيَانِ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْ٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Flafs ibn al-Bakhtariy from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who performs al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) is required to perform three Tawaf around the House, perform after every Tawaf two Rak‘at Salat (prayer) and two Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah.’” حسن كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/194))
