Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: Performing al-Hajj on Behalf of One Who Does Not Follow One’s School of Law ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َهْزِيَارَ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ يَحُجُّ عَنِ النَّاصِبِ هَلْ عَلَيْهِ إِثْ٠ٌ إِذَا حَجَّ عَنِ النَّاصِبِ وَهَلْ يَنْفَعُ ذَلِكَ النَّاصِبَ أَ٠ْ لا فَكَتَبَ لا يَحُجَّ عَنِ النَّاصِبِ وَلا يَحُجَّ بِهِ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘al- Hajj is not performed for one hostile to ’A’immah and al-Hajj is not performed with him.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (17/222))
