2.A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn abu al-âAlaâ who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who wants to go for al-Hajj, if he can shave all of his head before seeing the new moon. He (the Imam) said, âIt is not harmful before seeing the new moon. ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/234))
