Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Dress in the State of al-Thram and Detestable Dress in Such State َدُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ سُئِلَ عَنْ خَلُوقِ الْكَعْبَةِ لِلْ٠ِنْهُ الثَّوْبُ قَالَ لا هُوَ طَهُورٌ ثُ٠َّ قَالَ إِنَّ بِثَوْبِي ٠15.

Ahmad has narrated from ibn Faddal from af-Mufaddaf ibn Safih from Layth af-Muradiy who has said the foiiowing: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about printed cloths; if a man can use it for Ihram. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, only al-Mulahham (mixed with silk) kind of cloth is detestable.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/283))
