Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from âIsmaâil ibn Hanan ibn Sadir from his father who has said the following: âI once asked abu Jaâfar (a.s.), about a man who is in the state of Ihram and uses a salt which is mixed with saffron. He (the Imam) said, âIt is not proper for one while in the state of Ihram to use a thing which has saffron or any other kind of perfumes.ââ
