Chapter: Items Detestable to Use in the State of al-’Ihram 3ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْكُحْلِ لِلْ٠َّا بِالسَّوَادِ فَلا وَلَكِنْ بِالصَّبِرِ وَالْحُضُضِ. 3.

Ali has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about kohl for one in the state of Ihram.
