Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Musa ibn Saâdan from âAbd Allah ibn al-Qasim from âAbd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who is in the state of Ihram: if he can slaughter his camel or sheep. He (the Imam) said, âYes, he can do so.â I then asked, âCan he collect feed for his stumper or camel?
He (the Imam) said, âYes, he can cut anything he wants of trees until he enters al-Haram (the sacred area). When he enters al-Haram (the sacred area) then he cannot do ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/329))
