Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Jamil from certain persons of our people who has said the following: âAbout a man who in the state of Ihram kills an ostrich, abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âHe must pay one badanah; if he cannot afford then he must feed sixty destitute people.â He (the Imam) said, âIf the value of badanah is more than feeding sixty destitute people, it is not obligatory to feed more than sixty; if its value is less than the cost of feeding sixty destitute, he only owes the value of badanah.ââ رس٠ÙاÙØس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (7/372))
