Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yahya ibn Mubarak, from âAbd Allah ibn Jabalah from Samaâah ibn Mehran from abu Basir who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who in the state of Ihram breaks the horn of a deer. He (the Imam) said, âHe owes a ransom.â I then asked about his breaking one of its hand (front legs).
He (the Imam) said, âIf he breaks its hand and does not treat it to cure, he owes one sheep.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (7/377))
