Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Differences in Hunting on Land and in the Sea and Lawful Hunting in the State of al-’ Ihram َيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الطَّيَّارِ عَنْ أَحَدِهِ٠) قَالَ لا يَأْكُلِ الْ٠9.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban formal-Tayyar from one of the two Imams, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), who has said the following: “One of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘One in the state of Ihram, must not eat sea birds.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (17/388))
