Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى رَفَعَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) فِي رَجُلٍ أَكَلَ ٠ِ صَيْدٍ لا يَدْرِي ٠ٌ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ دَ٠7.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from in a marfu‘ manner the following: “About a man who in the state of Ihram eats of the flesh of a prey and does not know what it is, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’He owes one sheep.’” رفوع - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/395))
