Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ أَ٠َرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) أَنْ نَغْتَسِلَ ٠ِنْ فَخٍّ قَبْلَ أَنْ نَدْخُلَ ٠5.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), commanded us to take Ghusl (bath) from Fakhkh before entering Makkah.” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/10))
