A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn âIsa from al-Barqiy from âAbd al-Rahman ibn Sayabah who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the manner of walking during Tawaf around the Kaâbah as to how fast or how slow should I walk. He (the Imam) replied, âWalk moderately in between the two kinds of walking.ââ (Fatwa best explains the following chapters).
