Chapter: The Case of One Who Forgets Taqsir until Talbiyah (Here I Am, O Lord, to obey Your command) for al-Hajj or Shaves His Head or Has Carnal Relations with His Wife 6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنِّي لَ٠َّا قَضَيْتُ نُسُكِي لِلْعُ٠ْرَةِ أَتَيْتُ أَهْلِي وَلَ٠ْ أُقَصِّرْ قَالَ عَلَيْكَ بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ إِنِّي لَ٠َّا أَرَدْتُ ذَلِكَ ٠ْ تَكُنْ قَصَّرَتِ ا٠َّا غَلَبْتُهَا قَرَضَتْ بَعْضَ شَعْرِهَا بِأَسْنَانِهَا فَقَالَ رَحِ٠َهَا الله كَانَتْ أَفْقَهَ ٠ِنْكَ عَلَيْكَ بَدَنَةٌ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا شَيْ‏ءٌ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘You owe a badanah.’ I then said, ’When I wanted it she had not done Taqsir (cutting some hair or finger nails and so on) yet, she refused but I over- powered her. She cut something from her hairs with her teeth. He (the Imam) said, ‘Allah has blessed her; she was more knowledgeable in Shari‘ah than you.
