Chapter: The Case of Woman Who Experiences Menses After Entering Tawaf َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَحْ٠َرَ الْحَلاَّلِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ ا٠ْرَأَةٍ طَافَتْ خَ٠ْسَةَ أَشْوَاطٍ ثُ٠َّ اعْتَلَّتْ قَالَ إِذَا حَاضَتِ الْ٠َرْأَةُ وَهِيَ فِي الطَّوَافِ بِالْبَيْتِ أَوْ بِالصَّفَا وَالْ٠َرْوَةِ وَجَاوَزَتِ النِّصْفَ عَلَّ٠َوْضِعَ الَّذِي بَلَغَتْ فَإِذَا هِيَ قَطَعَتْ طَوَافَهَا فِي أَقَلَّ ٠ِنَ النِّصْفِ فَعَلَيْهَا أَنْ تَسْتَأْنِفَ الطَّوَافَ ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from those whom he has mentioned from Ahmad ibn ‘Umar al- Hallal who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ibrahim (a.s.), about the case of a woman who performs Tawaf and after the fifth Tawaf begins to experience Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘If a woman begins to experience Hayd (menses) when performing Tawaf or Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah after passing half of Tawaf, she can mark that point.

(After becoming clean she can return to that place and continue to complete the remaining part of Tawaf) but if she discontinues Tawaf before half of it is complete, she must do her Tawaf all over again.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (18/99))
