Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from and Muhammad ibn âIsmaâil has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Safwan ibn Yahya and Ibn Abi âUmayr from Muâawiyah ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âWhoever attends Jamâ has attended al-Hajj.
5 He (the Imam) has said, âAnyone performing al-Hajj as Qaârin, Mufrid or as al-Hajj al-Tamattuâ (advantageous) who comes and misses al-Hajj, must come out of the state of Ihram of al-âUmrah. He owes al-Hajj in future. 5 He (the Imam), about one who finds the Imam in Jamâ has said that if he thinks that he can attend âArafat, stay there for a little while and then can attend Jamâ before sunrise, he must attend âArafat.
If he thinks that he cannot attend âArafat before people leave, he must not attend âArafat but stay in Jamâ and his Hajj is complete. ââ Øس٠ÙاÙصØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (18/139))
