11.Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the case of an offering with torn ears. He (the Imam) said, âIf the tear is a mark it is not harmful; but if it is a rip then it is not acceptable.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (8/165))
