Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âHe (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, âJews or Christians must not slaughter your offering. A woman can slaughter for herself facing al-Qiblah (al-Kaâbah). She must say, âI have turned my face toward the Creator of the heavens and earth, obediently.
O Lord, this is from You and for You.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (18/178))
