A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from âAbd Allah ibn Bahr from Hammad ibn âUthaman who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man for al-Tamattuâ (advantageous) who fasts for three days and on the day of departure finds an offering animal. He (the Imam) said, âHis fast is sufficient.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (8/198))
