Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: Al-Hajj Followed by Pilgrimage (Visits) 1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠ِرَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يَأْتُوا هَذِهِ الأَحْجَارَ فَيَطُوفُوا بِهَا ثُ٠َّ يَأْتُونَا فَيُخْبِرُونَا بِوَلايَتِهِ٠ْ وَيَعْرِضُوا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرَهُ٠1.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘People are commanded to come to these stones, perform Tawaf, thereafter come to us to inform us of their acceptance of our Divine Authority and offer us their support. ‘“ حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (18/258))
