Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Muâawiyah ibn Wahab who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), âDid the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, say, âBetween my house and my pulpit is a garden of the gardens of paradise?ââ He (the Imam) replied, âYes, he did say so.â He (the Imam) then said, âThe house of Ali and Fatimah, âAlayhim al-Salam, is between the house of the Holy Prophet and the door which is parallel to the alley toward al-Baqiâ.â He (the Imam) said, âIf you enter through that door, the wall is on the side of your left shoulder.â He (the Imam) them mentioned other houses and said, âThe Messenger of Allah has said, âPerforming salat (prayer) in my Masjid is equal to one thousand salat (prayer) in other places except Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred Masjid) where it is more virtuous.âââ
