Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Pulpit, al-Rawdah and the Station of the Holy Prophet, O Allah grant salawat (favors and compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause) 10ـ سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْ٠ِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) ٠ِنْبَرِي وَبُيُوتِي رَوْضَةٌ ٠ِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَ٠ِنْبَرِي عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ ٠ِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ وَصَلاةٌ فِي ٠َسْجِدِي تَعْدِلُ أَلْفَ صَلاةٍ فِي٠َسَاجِدِ إِلاَّ الْ٠َسْجِدَ الْحَرَا٠ِيلٌ قُلْتُ لَهُ بُيُوتُ النَّبِيِّ (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) وَبَيْتُ عَلِيٍّ ٠ِنْهَا قَالَ نَعَ٠10.

Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from Jamil ibn Darraj who has said the following: “I heard abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “Between my pulpit and my houses is a garden of the gardens of paradise and my pulpit is a passageway of the passageways of paradise.

Performing one salat (prayer) in my Masjid is equal to one thousand salat (prayer) in other Masjids except Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred Masjid).’ Jamil has said, ‘I then asked, is the house of Ali (a.s.), of the houses of the Holy Prophet?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Yes, it is.
