Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Virtue and Excellence of Visiting abu ‘Abd Allah, al-Husayn, ‘Alayhi al-Salam ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْ٠ُخْتَارِ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّا٠ِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) تَعْدِلُ عِشْرِينَ حَجَّةً وَأَفْضَلُ وَ٠ِنْ عِشْرِينَ عُ٠2.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Sinan from al-Husayn ibn al- Mukhtar from Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that visiting the gravesite of al-Husayn (a.s.), is equal in rewards to twenty Hajjah.
