Al-Kāfi - The Book of Jihad (Serving in the Army) 3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قُوا أَنْفُسَكُ٠ْ ناراً كَيْفَ نَقِي أَهْلَنَا قَالَ تَأْ٠ْ وَتَنْهَوْنَهُ٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn ‘Uthaman from Sama‘ah from abu Basir who has said the following: “About the words of Allah, ‘... save yourselves and your family....’ (66:6) I asked abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, ‘How can we save our families?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Command them and prohibit them.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (18/410))
