A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Mufaddal ibn âUmar who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âA believer must not humiliate himself.â I then asked, âIn what way can he humiliate himself?â He (the Imam) replied, âHe can do so by involving himself in things that he cannot do.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (8/412))
