A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from Yunus ibn Ya’qub from the one whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Excessive sleeping causes one to lose his religion as well as the worldly matters.”’ ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/32))
