Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَلَفِ بْنِ حَ٠ُحْرِزٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) الدَّيْنُ ثَلاثَةٌ رَجُلٌ كَانَ لَهُ فَأَنْظَرَ وَإِذَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَعْطَى وَلَ٠ْطُلْ فَذَاكَ لَهُ وَلا عَلَيْهِ وَرَجُلٌ إِذَا كَانَ لَهُ اسْتَوْفَى وَإِذَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ أَوْفَى فَذَاكَ لا لَهُ وَلا عَلَيْهِ وَرَجُلٌ إِذَا كَانَ لَهُ اسْتَوْفَى وَإِذَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ ٠َطَلَ فَذَاكَ عَلَيْهِ وَلا لَهُ.

In his case it is all for him and it is not against him. There also is a man who as lender asks for payment and as a borrower he pays in time. In his case there is nothing for or against him. There is a man who as a lender demands payment and he as a borrower delays payment.
