A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu âAbd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ali from âAbd Allah ibn Jamilah from Ishaq ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âThis is concerning my question before abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about what people scatter on certain people during an entertaining occasion or wedding ceremony.
He (the Imam) said, âIt is unlawful but what they give, you can take it.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (19/87))
