Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Exchange of One Kind of Food Items for another Kind 15- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ لا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّجُلِ إِسْلافُ السَّ٠ْنِ بِالزَّيْتِ وَلا الزَّيْتِ بِالسَّ٠15.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘It is not valid for a man to make advance payment in the form of ghee to receive oil and vice versa.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/199))
