Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ ٠َنْصُورِ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ الْحَدَّادِ عَنْ بَشَّارِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَبِيعُ الْ٠َتَاعَ بِنَسَاءٍ فَيَشْتَرِيهِ ٠ِنْ صَاحِبِهِ الَّذِي يَبِيعُهُ ٠ِنْهُ قَالَ نَعَ٠ْ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَشْتَرِي ٠َتَاعِي فَقَالَ لَيْسَ هُوَ ٠َتَاعَكَ وَلا بَقَرَكَ وَلا غَنَ٠َكَ.

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ الْحَدَّادِ عَنْ بَشَّارِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠4.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il from Mansur ibn Yunus from Shu’ayb ibn al-Haddad from Bashshar ibn Yasar who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who sells goods on credit with deferred payment, then buys them from the party to whom he has sold.

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’ I then asked, ‘Can I buy my own goods?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not your property, your cow or your sheep.’” Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from Shu’ayb al- Haddad from Bashshar ibn Yasar from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), a similar Hadith. وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/231))
