Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Selling a Slave Who Owns Property 1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠ِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) الرَّجُلُ يَشْتَرِي الْ٠َالُهُ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلِ٠َ الْبَائِعُ أَنَّ لَهُ ٠َالا فَهُوَ لِلْ٠ُشْتَرِي وَإِنْ لَ٠َ فَهُوَ لِلْبَائِعِ.

He (the Imam) said, Tf the seller knows that the slave owns assets then such assets belong to the buyer but if he does not know then they belong to the seller.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/240))
