Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Milk, Wool and Ghee of Sheep Given for their Maintenance 2- عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْ٠َغْرَاءِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِي٠ُونٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فَقَالَ يُعْطَى الرَّاعِي الْغَنَ٠َ بِالْجَبَلِ يَرْعَاهَا وَلَهُ أَصْوَافُهَا وَأَلْبَانُهَا وَيُعْطِينَا لِكُلِّ شَاةٍ دَرَاهِ٠َ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ بَأْسٌ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْ٠َسْجِدِ يَقُولُونَ لا يَجُوزُ لأنَّ ٠َا لَيْسَ لَهُ صُوفٌ وَلا لَبَنٌ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) وَهَلْ يُطَيِّبُهُ إِلا ذَاكَ يَذْهَبُ بَعْضُهُ وَيَبْقَى بَعْضٌ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’ I then said that people of Masjid said, ‘It was not permissible because certain ones among them did not have wool or milk.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), said, ‘Can there be other arrangements better than this?
