A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Shammun from âAbd Allah ibn âAbd al-Rahman from Mismaâ ibn âAbd al-Malik who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that âAmir al-Muâminin has said, âOne hired and a partner are liable unless it (the loss) is because of beasts, drowning, burning or a stubborn thief.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (9/301))
