Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from Hammad ibn âIsa from Shuâayb al-âAqarqufiy from abu Basir who has said the following: âThis is concerning my question before abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about selling the sword decorated with cash (gold or silver). He (the Imam) said, âIt is not unlawful.â I then asked about selling on credit.
He (the Imam) said, âIf what is sold for cash is like what it is for its silver, then is not unlawful; or give foodstuff.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (9/312))
