Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Partnership with al-Dhimmiy (non-Muslim Tax payer) 2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) كَرِهَ ٠ُشَارَكَةَ الْيَهُودِيِّ وَالنَّصْرَانِيِّ وَالْ٠َجُوسِيِّ إِلا أَنْ تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً حَاضِرَةً لا يَغِيبُ عَنْهَا الْ٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin did not like partnership with Jews, Christians, al-Majusiy, unless it was a hand in hand business deal in the presence of the Muslim.”’
