Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Another Chapter about Previous Subject, Protection of Property and Detestability of Wasting ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَ٠ْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْ٠ِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َا أُبَالِي ائْتَ٠َنْتُ خَائِناً أَوْ ٠4.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from certain persons of our people from ‘Amr ibn abu al-Miqdam who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One’s trusting a treacherous person and wasting assets is a worthless act.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/411))
