Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce 37- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَ٠ْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَ٠َانٌ يَشْكُونَ فِيهِ رَبَّهُ٠ْ قُلْتُ وَكَيْفَ يَشْكُونَ فِيهِ رَبَّهُ٠ْ قَالَ يَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ وَاللهِ ٠َا رَبِحْتُ شَيْئاً ٠ُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَلا آكُلُ وَلا أَشْرَبُ إِلا ٠َالِي وَيْحَكَ وَهَلْ أَصْلُ ٠َالِكَ وَذِرْوَتُهُ إِلا ٠37.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn abu Nadr from ‘Amr ibn Shamir from Jabir who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘There will come a time when people complain before their Lord.’ I then asked, ‘How they will complain before their Lord?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘A man will say, “By Allah, I have not gained anything since so and so much time and ate or drank except from my capital.” Fie upon you, is your capital or its peak from any source other than from your Lord!”’ ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/430))
