Ali has narrated from his father from ibn abu Nasr from al-Mashriqiy who has said the following: âI once asked al-Ridaâ (a.s.), about the case of a man who proposes marriage to a woman who is playful and joking about it.
He asks the woman about it and she says, âYes.â He (the Imam) âAlayhi al-Salam, said, âIt does not mean anything valid.â I then asked, âCan one marry her?â He (the Imam) said, âYes, he can do so.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (20/417))
