Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage 40- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي الرَّجُلِ تَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ الْ٠َرْأَةُ فَيَتَزَوَّجُ أُخْرَى كَ٠ْ يَجْعَلُ لِلَّتِي يَدْخُلُ بِهَا قَالَ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّا٠40.

Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban from Ibrahim ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “About the case of a man who marries a second wife and the amount of time for the new wife, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It (the time) is three days; thereafter he divides it between the two.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/420))
