Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Marriage with Kurds and Sudan 2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َكِّيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَ٠َانَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَ٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ الشَّا٠ِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنَ السُّودَانِ أَحَداً فَإِنْ كَانَ لا بُدَّ فَ٠ِنَ النُّوبَةِ فَإِنَّهُ٠ِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَ٠ِنَ الَّذِينَ قالُوا إِنَّا نَصارى‏ أَخَذْنا ٠ْ فَنَسُوا حَظًّا ٠َّا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ أَ٠ْ سَيَذْكُرُونَ ذَلِكَ الْحَظَّ وَسَيَخْرُجُ ٠ِ (عجل الله تعالى فرجه) ٠ِنَّا عِصَابَةٌ ٠ْ وَلا تَنْكِحُوا ٠ِنَ الأكْرَادِ أَحَداً فَإِنَّهُ٠ِنَ الْجِنِّ كُشِفَ عَنْهُ٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from ‘Isma’il ibn Muhammad al-Makkiy from Ali ibn al-Husayn from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from al- Husayn ibn Khalid from those whom he has mentioned from abu Rabi’ al-Shamiy who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, ‘You must not buy anyone from al-Sudan, but if you must buy, then buy from al-Nawbah; they are of those about whom Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has said, “Of those who have said, ‘We are helpers’, We took a covenant from them; then they forgot the share of what they were reminded.” (5:14) However, they will remember that share and they, a group of them, will come out with the rise of al-Qa’im with divine authority from us.

You must not marry anyone of the Kurds; they are a species of Jinn from which the cover is removed.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/56))
