Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Marriage with a Woman and ‘Umm Walad of Her Father 5- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْسِ بْنِ هِشَا٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َا تَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ ا٠ْرَأَةً فَأَهْدَى لَهَا أَبُوهَا جَارِيَةً كَانَ يَطَؤُهَا أَيَحِلُّ لِزَوْجِهَا أَنْ يَطَأَهَا قَالَ نَعَ٠5.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kufiy from ‘Ubays ibn Hisham from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who marries a woman and her father gives her a slave-girl with whom he has gone to bed, as a gift; if her husband can go to bed with the slave-girl.

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/79))
